Job summary

Phipps Cameron Recruitment Ltd partners with a PE-backed, FCA-regulated insurance group in London to hire a hands-on Finance Integration & Change Manager on an interim-to-permanent basis. You will own end-to-end delivery from planning to detailed execution and report to the Group Finance Director.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is required.
• Experience delivering ledger/ERP migrations onto a group platform.
• Background in insurance or FCA-regulated environments with private equity backing.
• Track record of integrating acquisitions into group reporting.
• Strong month-end close, consolidation and financial controls experience.
• Able to engage with senior stakeholders and travel to London on short notice.

Interim to Perm

I’m partnering with a PE-backed, FCA-regulated insurance group on a buy-and-build journey. They’re looking for a hands‑on Finance Integration & Change Manager to bring newly acquired businesses into the Group and deliver the finance change that comes with that.

This is a delivery role. You’ll report to the Group Finance Director and own the work end to end, from the plan to the detail.

What you’ll be doing

• Integrating acquired businesses into Group reporting, close and controls
• Leading ledger/ERP migrations onto the Group platform (SUN experience a real plus)
• Delivering onshore/offshore finance transitions
• Running governance across several integration workstreams, including plans, RAID, reporting and steering packs
• Working with finance teams, operational leads and stakeholders across the UK and internationally

What we’re looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Personal, hands‑on delivery of at least one ledger/ERP migration
• Background in insurance, or another FCA-regulated environment combined with PE-backed experience
• Track record of integrating acquisitions into group reporting
• Strong grounding in month‑end close, group consolidation and financial controls
• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves, and credible with senior stakeholders
• Based in London and able to travel at short notice
• A European language is a bonus, not essential
