About the Role
This is an 18-month fixed term project focused on supporting an ERP implementation within the organisation. You will play a key role in transforming and standardising finance processes and master data across multiple business segments, ensuring alignment with global templates and compliance frameworks.
Location & Travel
Preferred location: UK Poland or Denmark
Travel requirement: assessed on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
- Translate business requirements into ERP solutions and make key process decisions during design workshops.
- Design workflows, controls, and reporting structures within the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with global finance standards, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including policies and governance frameworks.
- Co‑lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance processes.
- Drive organisational change and support end‑user training and adoption.
- Collaborate with project managers and consultants to resolve issues promptly.
- Define KPIs for ERP‑enabled finance processes and monitor post‑go‑live performance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.
Project Phases
- Design: Analyse local processes, assess data structures, and perform FIT/GAP analysis against global templates.
- Planning: Develop rollout strategies, approve documentation, and support change management activities.
- Execution: Ensure consistent implementation across sites, oversee testing, and lead post‑go‑live improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of finance experience in an industrial environment, with strong costing knowledge.
- Hands‑on ERP experience (Oracle preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience managing large‑scale, complex projects.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving circumstances.
