Job summary

University of Oxford is seeking a Senior Assistant Registrar (Finance and Capital) to join the Governance Team within Planning and Council Secretariat (PACS). You will oversee governance of major financial commitments and coordinate committees to support informed decision making at the university.

The role requires collaboration with senior university officers, contributes to policy development, and offers a hybrid working pattern with two office days per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee governance of substantial financial commitments related to the University’s strategic capital projects.
• Coordinate work of committees through which proposals are reviewed and decisions taken.
• Collaborate with the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Planning and Resources, and the Chief Financial Officer to coordinate governance activity.
