A leading international brewer is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Edinburgh. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for financial planning, performance management, and business partnering. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of finance experience and strong skills in stakeholder engagement. The position offers a salary of £60k - £70k plus a performance bonus and flexible benefits.

Function: Finance
Location: London (nr. Oxford Street) or Edinburgh (St Andrew Square) – a mix of office and home working
Salary: £60k - £70K + performance bonus + Flexible benefits (15% of base salary can be taken as cash, benefits, or a mix of both plus full benefits listed below)
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

In our Commercial Finance team, we play a critical role in helping the business deliver Off Trade and Total Business objectives through business partnering the commerce team, providing robust and insightful reporting and proactive management of the commercial cost base and balance sheet.
Reporting into the Off Trade Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to partner with colleagues across Front Line Sales and Finance to provide first-class business partnering, performance management, planning and value-added insight.
You’ll lead the planning processes for the Off Trade, building and reviewing the financial forecast based on the sales forecast, and will be responsible for delivery of the monthly governance cycle and play a critical role in protecting the business, with responsibility for ensuring robust governance and focus on our performance against our key revenue objectives.
You’ll support on customer JVCA conversations to optimise investment whilst partnering and challenging your key stakeholders to support great commercial decision-making. The finance controller will have line management responsibility for one finance analyst and will be responsible for their coaching and ongoing development plan.
As a qualified accountant you will have 5+ years’ experience in finance. You will have evidence of influencing decisions which have improved business results and will be commercially aware with experience in identifying and shaping opportunities and risks and delivering financial targets. You will have strong technical finance controlling skills, an excellent relationship-building track record and have natural problem-solving abilities.
Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although you’re welcome to work from the office on those days too.
