Finance Business Partner Manager

Location: Northampton

We are recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner Manager to support a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Northampton. This is a short-term contract role requiring a senior finance professional who can provide immediate, hands‑on support across operational finance and stakeholder partnering.

The role will focus on delivering strong finance business partnering to operational areas, providing commercial insight, and supporting financial planning and performance management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end‑to‑end finance business partnering support to operational and manufacturing functions
  • Deliver high‑quality financial insight to support decision‑making, performance management, and cost control
  • Partner with senior operational stakeholders to understand financial drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the business
  • Ensure effective financial governance and reporting processes are in place
  • Act as a key interface between Finance and operational leadership
  • Support continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting
Key Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in Finance Business Partnering within operational or manufacturing environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong systems and financial analysis capability

This role would suit an experienced interim finance professional available at short notice and comfortable working on‑site as part of a collaborative team
