Finance Business Partner West Midlands Fixed Term Contract

We are working with a client in the West Midlands who is looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial fixed-term contract, with strong potential for this to become permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to take a strategic role within finance, working closely with key business functions and influencing decision-making at a senior level.

The Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial teams, translating financial data into actionable insight to support business growth. You will lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring financial performance is understood across the organisation and opportunities for improvement are identified. You will also contribute to process improvements, governance, and ad-hoc projects, including ROI assessments and business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Lead month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Develop and maintain forecasting and budgeting models to support strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams to provide actionable financial insight.

  • Assist with scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and annual budgeting processes.

  • Support ad-hoc projects and provide bespoke financial analysis to drive business performance.

  • Identify process improvements to streamline reporting and maintain robust internal controls.

What We re Looking For
