An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a Finance team supporting one of the leading college groups in West London. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial insights, supporting budget holders, and driving financial performance across multiple sites.

Role Information
  • Salary : £44,369 - £46,906
  • Contract Type : Full time, permanent

Job Responsibilities
  • Produce annual budgets, mid-year forecasts, and final outturn reports
  • Monitor income, expenditure, and capital spend against targets, providing monthly performance reports
  • Maintain accurate staffing establishment and reconcile payroll costs
  • Analyse financial data and present insights to non-finance stakeholders
  • Develop and enhance reporting templates for senior management and Governors
  • Promote a performance management culture and act as a trusted finance partner to budget holders
  • Deputise for the Director of Finance at budget holder meetings when required
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally within the education or public sector
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting
  • Progressing towards or completed a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA)
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data for non-finance audiences
  • Proficient in IT systems, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
