The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of a designated service area. Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide expert financial insight, ensure robust reporting, and support decision‑making that enables services to thrive. This is a senior‑level position requiring a proactive, collaborative approach and a strong ability to influence outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to operational directors and heads of service, providing strategic financial advice.
  • Lead on internal financial reporting for your service area, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support business planning and negotiations with key stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HR and organisational development partners to deliver integrated business support.
  • Drive improvements in communication, efficiency, and financial protocols across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in senior‑level financial management and monitoring.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • A practical, delivery‑focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Full UK driving licence.
