Qualifications

Finance Business Partner

Location: Oldbury (Hybrid working)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Do you enjoy using your finance skills to help organisations make better decisions, and want your work to genuinely matter?

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our client, supporting services that make a real difference to the community across Sandwell.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping them understand their budgets and make the most of available funding. You'll also lead and support a small team, making sure payments are processed accurately and on time.

Your role will include:
  • Producing clear, useful budget monitoring and management accounts
  • Supporting budget holders with advice, insight and financial guidance
  • Leading the annual budget-setting and business planning process
  • Improving financial processes and controls within Oracle Financials
  • Helping the organisation maximise income and funding opportunities
  • Managing and developing the Payments Team
  • Shaping and embedding financial policies and procedures
What we're looking for

You don't need to tick every box, but ideally you'll:

  • Be CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified
  • Be confident using Excel to analyse and explain data
  • Have some experience of managing or supporting staff
  • Care about improving outcomes

Working pattern

37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Hybrid working, with at least 2 days per week in the office
