The Role and the Team

The Partnerships team at Blue Light Card manages the full relationship lifecycle with our valued partners, from onboarding to optimisation, ensuring they can deliver impactful offers that support our members.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing partners in electricals, home & garden, subscriptions and gifting, engaging through regular calls, meetings and site visits to understand their goals and deliver shared commercial success.
  • Optimise performance by negotiating strong discounts for our members and omnichannel offers.
  • Lead commercial discussions for contract renewals and re‑negotiations, ensuring win‑win outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams, working closely with Marketing, Data and other internal functions to bring joint business plans to life.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in Account Management or Partnership Management, working with well‑known brands and with a track record of building strong commercial relationships and delivering growth.
  • Strong omnichannel retail experience, partnering with both online teams and in‑store high street retailers to shape compelling in‑store and digital offers.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and sales skills that can influence at all levels.
  • Confident working with data, comfortable interpreting sales data and consumer insights to spot opportunities and build compelling narratives.
  • A growth mindset – proactive, resourceful and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A positive outlook and a collaborative approach, valuing cross‑team input to achieve shared goals.
  • Experience in affiliates desirable but not essential.
