Finance Business Partner - Lincoln - Up to £42,500

Chase & Holland are working exclusively on behalf of a large and well known business based in Lincoln, who is currently going through an exciting period of change.

Overview

Our client is looking for a Finance business Partner to provide a complete finance business partnering service. To work alongside departments in the development of short and long term financial plans, performance monitoring, financial appraisal and the provision of appropriate, accurate and timely management information.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and challenge activities where the business is not operating in line with the strategic objectives
  • Monitor external income generating projects to support the strategic objectives of achieving targets
  • Demonstrate good financial awareness and technical accounting skills
  • Understand financial information and provide sensible interpretation of the numbers
  • Present MI in a focused and user-orientated style to facilitate key decisions
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Monitor income and expenditure against budget and forecast identifying variances
  • Lead regular meetings budget holders to review performance and investigate causes of variances
  • Provide advice regarding likely impact on delivery of budget and provide explanation of remedial action if necessary
  • Provide senior staff with timely, accurate and reliable financial information to assist in the making of key decisions
  • Ensure budgets are produced to the agreed Finance timetable
Ideal candidate
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA part qualified accountant with exceptional management accounting, financial analysis and reporting experience
  • Strong business partnering skills
  • IT literate especially on excel
  • You will be able to motivate and lead by example and always strive to provide exceptional customer service through your finance business partnering at all times
