A leading insurance provider in Ipswich is seeking a Cost Centre Analyst to review business month-end expenses and enhance financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have accounting qualifications such as ACA or CIMA and strong technical skills including proficiency in Anaplan. This hybrid role involves managing month-end processes and supporting budgeting across business units, while fostering relationships with various stakeholders. As a Cost Centre Analyst, you'll conduct a full review of the business month end expenses close process, understanding its strengths and weaknesses to support a redevelopment. This will include a reconciliation of the intercompany and subsidiary activity and a redesign of the month end flash report which will bring clarity to Senior executives on the business performance. This role is aimed at someone with previous experience with intercompany transactions, subsidiary accounting and process improvement.
You’ll support functional transactional expense management under the guidance of the Expense Analyst Team Manager. Lead month‑end close activities (journals and prepayments), ensure correct accounting treatment of expense items in line with the AXA manual.

You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
