An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Business Partner to join the Finance team on a full time basis. The finance team has recently been restructured, and this is therefore an exciting time to join a progressive and dynamic team. The role which reports directly to the Head of Financial Management will be supporting a designated NSFT operational Locality team within the Trust and will play a key supporting role with the Senior Operational Leadership team. The successful candidates will be C.C.A.B. qualified and have business partnering experience, although not necessarily with previous NHS or wider public sector experience. Dependant on the candidates circumstances the formal base may be either Ipswich or Norwich on appointment and it will be possible to work part of the time from home. NSFT supports flexible working and we will consider part time and flexible working requests in the fulfilment of these roles. Secondments from other NHS organisations are warmly welcomed.
The post holder will be fully responsible for providing a comprehensive financial business partnering service to designated localities, providing a full range of support, benchmarking and advice to the locality leadership, lead clinicians and other senior managers within the locality. To be an integral part of the locality leadership team to discuss and rectify areas of concern (financial and non-financial). To recommend new ways of working not just in a financial capacity but also as a business partner and advisor. To lead the other members of the team in producing accurate and timely budget and forecasting information. The post holder will develop relationships with any relevant commissioning groups and provide support and advice at commissioning meetings.
