Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a finance professional in Gloucester to partner with operational leaders, providing commercial financial support to drive performance. You will produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts, delivering clear analysis of results, trends and variances, and translate financial information into actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial financial support and actionable insights.
• Produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and translate financial data into recommendations.
• Support tenders, business cases and capital investments, assessing ROI.
• Present performance updates and provide challenge to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain robust financial controls, incl. balance sheet reconciliations and audit prep.
• Contribute to group reporting and finance projects as required.

• Support commercial tenders, business cases and capital investment projects, assessing financial viability and return on investment.
• Present financial performance updates to management teams and provide challenge and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain robust financial controls, including balance sheet reconciliations, audit preparation and reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to group reporting requirements and support wider finance projects and initiatives as required.

Profile

• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
