The London Clinic seeks a Finance Business Partner to provide financial insight across pricing, insurer contracts, and joint ventures, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance. You will assess commercial proposals, explain risks and opportunities, and support strategic decisions that strengthen hospital performance.

You'll manage management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for commercial and operational departments, partnering with budget holders to understand performance and plan ahead.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with strong commercial judgement.
• Strong Excel modelling skills and understanding of the revenue cycle.
• Comfort dealing with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing reviews, insurer negotiations, and tenders through financial analysis.
• Lead pricing for new procedures and services.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities, new services and business cases.

Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Working arrangements: Hybrid, with three days per week onsite

We're looking for a qualified accountant who combines commercial judgement with curiosity, enjoys building relationships and can turn complex analysis into clear, practical advice.

A little about the role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you'll provide financial insight across pricing, insurer contracts, joint ventures and new services. You'll assess commercial proposals, explain risks and opportunities, and support decisions that strengthen the hospital's financial performance.

Your portfolio will also include management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for commercial and operational departments. Working with budget holders, you'll help them understand performance, address variances and plan ahead.

What you'll be doing

• Support annual price reviews, insurer contract negotiations and tenders through financial analysis and scenario modelling.
• Lead pricing for new procedures and services.
• Evaluate commercial opportunities, new services and business cases.

• Partner with departmental leaders on budgets, forecasts, financial performance and cost saving opportunities.
• Deliver clear management reporting, explaining variances, risks and the actions required.
• Develop financial models, dashboards and reporting processes that improve insight and decision making.

What we are looking for:

You’ll be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with:

• Strong Excel modelling skills and a sound understanding of financial processes and the revenue cycle.
• The ability to evaluate commercial options and make well supported recommendations.
• Confidence to work with senior stakeholders, establish credibility and challenge constructively.
• Clear communication skills, particularly when explaining financial information to colleagues outside Finance.
• A collaborative approach, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Healthcare experience and Power BI skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
