Altum Consulting is proud to be partnering with a high-profile global foundation that supports science to solve the urgent health challenges facing everyone. We're looking for a Finance Business Partner for an interim contract to join and play a vital role in supporting the organisation's mission through sharp financial insight, strategic support, and stakeholder collaboration.

What you'll be doing:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with departments across the organisation, ensuring that financial performance and control measures are embedded in key decisions. You will:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organisation

  • Deliver insightful business and financial reporting to support informed decision-making

  • Lead on planning, budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Support the development of high-quality business cases and robust project plans

  • Conduct financial due diligence for funding applicants and manage financial risk for ongoing awards

  • Drive process improvements and ensure effective financial controls

  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a diverse, inclusive, and innovative culture

  • Contribute to the organisation's broader objectives through cross-functional teamwork and strategic insight

About you:

You'll have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

  • 4+ years of post-qualified experience
  • Proven experience in management accounting and month-end processes

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel and working knowledge of systems like Oracle, TM1, or Tableau

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk and control

This is a hybrid role working 3 days per week from their modern, central London office.
