Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in a finance function with a recognized accounting qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial insight into engineering services performance.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and KPIs.
  • Develop automated reporting and analysis tools.
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
  • Lead and support key business projects.

Skills

Accounting qualification such as CIMA / ACCA or QBE
Extensive experience working in finance department(s)
Ability to discuss financial accounts with non-financial personnel
Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Modelling
Experience working with business analytics tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SQL)
Presentation skills

The Opportunity:

Finance Business Partner

The Impact you will have:
  • Provide financial insight into E&W Engineering Services performance, identify trends and challenge costs
  • Review and analyse P&L, balance sheet and KPIs to improve financial and operational outcomes
  • Act as a link between core finance and business units
  • Develop automated reporting and analysis tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead / support ad-hoc key business projects
  • Support E&W Business Partnering Manager and Senior Business Partner
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure financial understanding
  • Deliver commercial insight to challenge and improve business performance
  • Identify opportunities and risks to enhance financial results
  • Provide financial support for strategic projects
  • Improve and automate reporting processes
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Drive continuous improvement in pricing, planning, and reporting
  • Participate in monthly review meetings
  • Provide additional commercial support as needed
What will help you to excel in this role:
  • Accounting qualification such as CIMA / ACCA or QBE (minimum 3 years)
  • Extensive experience working in finance department(s)
  • Be able to discuss financial accounts with non-financial personnel
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Financial Modelling
