Braintree District Council is seeking a Finance Business Partner (Revenue) to join the Financial Services Team. You will provide financial analysis, prepare revenue budgets, manage account closures, and support council initiatives with prudent financial advice.
The role requires CCAB, or part qualification, or AAT with extensive public sector experience; strong interpersonal and IT skills; and the ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities.

You will join our Financial Services Team, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality financial expertise and support across the council. Day to day, you will provide financial analysis to support decision-making and council initiatives, prepare revenue budgets, manage account closures, monitor and control finances, produce forecasts, and contribute to financial planning. You will work closely with senior management and service delivery managers, adding value through challenge and professional financial advice.

Salary: £36,684 to £45,498 per annum
