Job summary

Sage is recruiting a Senior Finance Automation Analyst on a fixed-term contract to end of November 2027. The role is hybrid, based three days a week from the Newcastle office, reporting to the Finance Innovation & Automation Director.

You will lead the Finance Citizen Developer Programme and deliver automation solutions to improve colleague, customer and supplier experiences. You will work with Power Platform, Alteryx, SQL and Python to design, build and implement automation, while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years of working with varied data sets and ETL using SQL or Python.
• Experience with low-code tools (Power Platform, Alteryx) or SharePoint/Dataverse.
• Experience building custom applications with the listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities with Finance teams and document processes.
• Design, build and implement Power Platform, Alteryx, SQL and Python solutions.
• Support testing, deployment and hyper-care of automations.
• Monitor and improve existing automations for data quality and measurable value.
• Coordinate day-to-day Finance Citizen Developer Programme, governance and reports.
• Coach Citizen Developers and explore new automation technologies.
