About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the financial activities of our Property Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth processing of transactions across a designated portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions related to rental income, commission fees, and other tenancy-related charges between landlords, tenants, and the company.
  • Support lease renewal procedures by verifying and applying all relevant financial charges and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Manage deposit release workflows, ensuring all deductions are correctly calculated and processed in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, ensuring timely receipt and entry of invoices into the internal finance system.
  • Collaborate with Property Managers to resolve financial queries and discrepancies, ensuring a high standard of service and compliance.
About You

Our Property Management and Accounts department manages over 25,000 tenancies so you must enjoy working in a lively and fast-paced environment in a highly service-driven industry.

We require you to have a strong mathematical aptitude, familiarity with Excel and accounting databases, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

The role also requires excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to managing financial data in a fast-paced environment.
