Job summary

OpenSourced - Search & Selection is recruiting a Finance Assistant for a permanent, full-time onsite role in Bedforshire. The position is ideal for someone at the early stages of their finance career, offering broad day-to-day accounting exposure and the chance to develop within an established international business.

Salary is £26,000–£30,000 per annum with study support potential for AAT/ACCA/CIMA in the future. 1–2 years of relevant experience or a related educational background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Around 1–2 years' experience in accounts, finance or similar commercial role.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence with Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
• Experience with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Supporting credit control and following up outstanding payments.
• Processing and reconciling supplier statements.
• Assisting with bank and account reconciliations.
• Entering and maintaining financial information in QuickBooks.
• Supporting payment runs and general transaction processing.
• Assisting with expense processing and administration.
• Helping prepare financial information and reports for management.
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and colleagues on finance queries.
