Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proactive, able to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Acting as senior finance lead in the absence of Head of Finance.
• Overseeing the Finance Officer’s day-to-day duties.
• Preparing management accounts with insightful commentary and KPIs.
• Producing forecasts and managing budgets.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including prepayments and accruals.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Running monthly supplier payment cycles.
• Monitoring cashflow and income streams.
• Preparing VAT returns and HMRC submissions.
• Overseeing payroll preparation each month.
• Assisting in annual budgets and year-end close.
