Finance Assistant

Location: London - Hybrid working

Salary: £45- 48,500

We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-driven Finance Assistant to join a well-established professional organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance operations who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, supporting a broad range of financial processes including invoice management, budgeting support, reconciliations, and general finance administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Entering and maintaining accurate financial records and data
  • Processing staff and external expense claims
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices in the finance system
  • Recording receipts for membership, and product sales
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices accurately
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve financial queries
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Tracking and monitoring budgets for events and travel
  • Setting up new suppliers and employees on the accounting system
  • Performing reconciliations and checks on financial ledgers
  • Providing general administrative and finance support as needed
