Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Shoreditch!, London (7-minute walk from Old Street train station)

Hours: 9am-6pm Monday and Wednesday, 9:30am-5:30pm Tuesday and Thursday, 9-4:30pm Friday!) Monday and wednesday from home!

Contract Details: Permanent

Salary: 27,000-£35,000 pa

Responsibilities
  • Assist with credit control, monitoring outstanding invoices and maintaining client relationships for timely payments.
  • Help process accounts payable, handle invoices, and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Support contractor payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments while resolving queries.
  • Aid in contractor onboarding across the UK, EU, and US, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate on preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide insights supporting business operations.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Proven experience in a finance role, particularly with contractor payroll and accounts payable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage tasks independently.
  • Must have strong excel skills i.e V Look Ups & Pivot tables
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practises.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)
  • Experience in preparing management accounts.
  • Understanding of recruitment services and end-to-end finance processes.
  • Proficiency with finance tools like Xero, G-Suite (Google Sheets), Notion, Bullhorn, and Timesheet Portal.
Technologies
