Job summary

MCS Group are partnering with a well-established recycling and waste management organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant in Newry. You will join the expanding finance team and be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accounts, reconciliations and assisting with month-end tasks in a role that emphasizes accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within an industry-based finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Processing and registering customer and supplier invoices
• Maintaining accurate customer and supplier accounts
• Reconciling customer and supplier statements and resolving queries
• Processing supplier payments and administering purchase orders
• Completing company credit card reconciliations and posting associated transactions
• Processing petty cash and inter-company account recharges
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Other Ad-hoc responsibilities outlined in the job description
