Job summary

SANY Group in Coatbridge is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our young, friendly UK team. You will verify and reconcile invoices, maintain records of AP transactions, and support month-end closing activities.

The role requires proven finance experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel. English and Mandarin Chinese bilingual candidates are preferred. We offer a competitive package, pension, 25 days holiday, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual language skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Maintain accurate and organised records of all AP transactions.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and answer queries.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare reports as required.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
