The Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department within this FinTech company. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Description

Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across payment flows, settlement accounts, card schemes, and banking partners.

Use advanced Excel and VBA tools to automate reconciliations, enhance accuracy, and improve process efficiency.

Ability to prepare and perform detailed reconciliations to a high standard for a high-volume transactions payments business, with timely resolution of variances.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Risk teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.

Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational finance processes and reporting frameworks.

Profile
  • Advanced Excel skills/VBA.
  • Experience working with financial software and tools.
  • Ideally have experience of working within Financial Services.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
