The role involves processing invoices, preparing management accounts, and supporting financial reporting in a busy environment. The position requires both independent work and collaboration within the finance team.

Qualifications

  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
  • A key understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare sales invoices and manage aged creditors.
  • Prepare payment runs for suppliers.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures.
  • Supporting the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
  • Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required.

RM Recruit are delighted to be working in partnership with a brilliant business based in Walsall who are actively seeking a full-time, Finance Assistant to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role is based onsite in Monday-Friday with hours of work set between 8.30am 5.30pm.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to contribute to a busy and supportive finance department within a well-established organisation.

Key Responsibilities
