A healthcare organization in Ramsgate is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to manage invoices, support financial reporting, and work with financial software. The ideal candidate has experience in finance, especially within healthcare, and holds qualifications in Math and English. This role offers learning opportunities and a chance to grow within the organization.
Invicta Health is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a part time basis.
Working hours per week: 16 hours, however there is a possibility to increase these hours in the future

As a Finance Assistant you will assist in the provision of financialsupport and advice to the Senior Management team. You will autonomously planyour own workload, prioritisingthe processing of invoices once goods have been received and raising purchaseorders for managers within Head Office. You will work with the Head of Finance,supporting in the development of monthly finance reports. You will workfrequently with and Sage Line 50 finance software

Main Responsibilities
To assist with the maintenance of purchase ledgersto support the production of monthly financial statements.
Accurate coding of supplier invoices through Sage Line 50 finance software &setting up of payments thought NatWest Bankline.
Provide support to the Head of Finance inresponding to enquiries from budget holders and managers and assisting themwith all operational finance and performance issues.
Assist in the production of monthly running coststatements to ensure Invicta Health remains within the running cost.
Produce ad hoc reports, including spreadsheets andgraphs, as required.
To assist with Credit Control, Cash and Chequereconciliation and the process of posting payments.
Reconciliation of Petty Cash & Credit CardStatements
Coordinate the reconciliation of claims and arrangereimbursements.
Responsible for supplying codes for budget holdersand colleagues, both internally and externally, to ensure prompt and accuratecoding of invoices.
Raise all accruals, budget virements and otheradjustments as appropriate and then be responsible for the input to thefinancial ledger.
Be responsible for the raising of invoices toensure the correct level of income is received to aid with Invicta Healthscash flow position.
Work with colleagues and both internal and externalstakeholders to ensure all recharges are actioned.
To support the development of and work withinfinancial procedures, policies, guidelines and best accounting practices.
Be responsible for planning own work to meet themonthly financial timetable.
To support the Senior Management Team, as required.
Cover the duties of the Finance Team during theirabsence.
To undertake other ad hoc duties as and whenrequired.
General Duties
Towork collaboratively and professionally with colleagues across Invicta Health,building and maintaining relationships.
Tocontribute to the development of services, including processes, templates andprinciples.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by your linemanager.
