Keeler Recruitment is seeking a Finance Assistant for a well-established organisation in Norfolk. The role offers progression from intercompany recharging to more reporting responsibilities as you gain experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process intercompany recharges and analyse data with accounting systems and Excel.
  • Liaise with Group Finance Managers to ensure accurate recharges.
  • Raise sales invoices and process journals.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Carry out regular balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
  • Support the wider finance team with timely financial information.

Finance Assistant

£30,000 - £35,000 DOE | Full-Time | Norfolk

Keeler Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful and well-established organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT Level 4 qualified finance professional looking for a varied role with genuine progression. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will initially focus on intercompany recharging, reconciliations and financial administration, with the opportunity to take on increasing reporting responsibilities as your experience develops.

The Role

Your initial responsibilities will include:

  • Calculating and processing intercompany recharges by analysing financial data and using accounting systems and Excel
  • Liaising with Group Finance Managers to ensure accurate and timely recharges
  • Raising sales invoices and processing journals
  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Carrying out regular balance sheet reconciliations
  • Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to management
  • Supporting the wider finance team with accurate and timely financial information
Progression & Development

As you develop within the role, you will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, including:

  • Producing and reviewing trial balances at month end
  • Updating monthly rolling forecasts for management review and consolidation
  • Supporting the production of half-year and full-year management accounts
  • Providing financial information to support tax calculations
  • Assisting the internal audit team with requested information
  • Supporting external auditors during the year-end audit process
About You

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is keen to develop their technical accounting and reporting skills.

You will ideally have:

  • AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience within a finance/accounts environment
  • Good understanding of reconciliations and double-entry accounting
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with colleagues across the wider business
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
