Contract: FTC 6-12 months - with the view to go permanent

About the Role

Are you ready to make a difference in the finance world? Our client, a leading organisation in the alternative investment industry, is seeking a talented Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with month-end closure processes.
  • Prepare management flash reports and quarterly board packs.
  • Handle customer invoicing and lead debtor recovery efforts.
  • Process supplier payments and support procurement activities.
  • Prepare regulatory reports and updates for the parent company.
  • Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis to identify savings.
  • Manage payroll and expenses using Pento and Pleo.
  • Drive process improvements and collaborate across teams.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a similar finance role.
  • Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (Xero preferred).
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential data.
  • Experience collaborating with various teams.
