A large Group of businesses in the Lancaster area are looking to strengthen their finance team by recruiting a new Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.

Working in a friendly team of finance staff, this role reports into an engaging Finance Manager who will act as a mentor to ensure success and growth in your role.

Your New Role as Finance Assistant :
  • Supporting with accounts payable processes
  • Providing month end support as required
  • Communicating with various stakeholders including suppliers, responding to queries as needed
  • Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting other departments, delivering financial insight
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply :

The successful candidate will be proven in a transactional Accounts Assistant role with exposure to purchase and sales ledger processes, ideally within an environment handling large volumes. Strong Excel skills are required as well as good communication skills.
