TLTP Education is recruiting a Finance Assistant for a part-time, permanent role in a South East London sixth form. The role requires prior experience in finance or accounts and strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will work on-site in an established education setting with a supportive team and excellent transport links.

Immediate start available. The salary is £29,833 to £30,233 per annum for a part-time position, with permanent contract and on-site working

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment.
• Be organised and able to manage financial administration accurately.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Be confident using computerised finance systems and Microsoft Office.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a busy team.
• Have good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial administration and data entry.
• Maintain accurate records and filing in the finance system.
• Utilise computerised finance software and MS Office to process transactions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely closing of ledgers.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve queries.

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for a permanent opportunity within an established education setting?

TLTP Education is currently working with a well-established sixth form in South East London who are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their team.

The sixth form is part of a successful group of colleges across South London and Kent, supporting students aged 16-19 across a wide range of academic and vocational pathways. The setting offers BTEC, T Level and A-level programmes and has a strong focus on student development, progression and pastoral support.

The successful Finance Assistant will:
