Job description

Location: Glasgow (City Centre)

Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Flexibility: Expectation to attend office 2-3 days a week

The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team as our business undergoes an exciting period of growth.

The finance team supports the membership-facing teams in a number of ways including but not limited to:

  • Transactional processing
  • Reporting and data analysis
  • Liquidity and investments management
  • Project support
  • Payroll

Finance assistants are predominantly responsible for accurate processing of invoices and recording of bank transactions. This includes:

  • Inputting invoices data onto the system
  • Ensuring cost invoices and expenses are authorised
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with the payment run
What You Can Bring To The Role

Some experience working as a finance assistant, or in a similar role, is essential for us.

While a formal qualification in finance or a related discipline is not essential for this role it would be advantageous.
