Overview

Are you a Finance Assistant looking for a fully remote role?

Do you live within an hour of Bedford, with your own transport?

Are you comfortable processing invoices, reconciling payments and dealing with some light credit control?

If so, our expanding and well-respected client is keen to hear from you!

Responsibilities

This is a varied finance assistant role working closely with the remote finance team to assist in:

  • Invoicing duties including creating and sending one-off, quarterly and annual invoices.
  • Keeping invoicing trackers and systems up to date.
  • Reconciliation of customer payments.
  • Liaising with multiple internal teams and external customers.
  • Undertaking light debtor management tasks.
  • Supporting in-contract activity or volume adjustments.
  • Contract query and problem solving.
  • Jointly monitoring the finance inbox and triaging as necessary.
  • Participating in the processing of supplier invoices.
  • Supporting incoming supplier, and customer communications.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • High levels of self-discipline, a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • A can-do, self-starter able to work independently at home without supervision or direction, but comfortable asking for help if it's needed.
  • A relaxed and friendly personality - calm under pressure.

Our client is offering a fully remote set up with monthly team meetings and excellent ongoing support.

The basic salary available is 26,000 plus company benefits, working typical office hours, Monday - Friday.
