FINANCE ASSISTANT

MONDAY FRIDAY 8:30AM 4:30AM

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO START ASAP

As part of the Finance team, you will be responsible for transactional work within the sales and purchase ledgers, cash book processing, point of sale income and providing support for any financial queries for the organisation.

Duties:
  • Sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Cash book allocations
  • Customer and supplier queries
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Expenses and co credit card processing
  • Operation of the Xero Accounts system
  • Processing of sales and purchase invoices/credit notes
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Setting up customer/supplier accounts and providing aged reports as required
  • Proactively process and manage expenses
  • Processing of cash book transactions
  • Reconciliation of the cash position to the bank statements
  • Processing information efficiently to audit standard
  • Problem solving when issues arise
  • Support the Financial Controller with adhoc duties when required
Experience:
  • Computerised accounts systems experience and training
  • Good IT skills including practical experience of MS Excel
  • Numeracy and accuracy in transactional work
  • Transactional input
  • Effective handling of customer and supplier queries
  • Ability to multi-task
