Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Temporary Finance Assistant to join our client at Carlisle Airport. The role is initially 1 month, with potential to extend or convert to permanent for the right candidate.

TEMPORARY FINANCE ASSISTANT - £14.87 PER HOUR

Location: Carlisle Airport, own transport essential

Pay: £14.87 per hour

Duration: Initially 1 month, with the potential to be extended

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1 month.

This role could potentially extend beyond the initial month, as the company is also recruiting for a permanent member of the finance team. For the right candidate, there could even be an opportunity to secure a permanent position!

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Processing the weekly payroll and associated journals
• Taking ownership of cashflow and related tasks
• Preparing month-end journals, reporting and reconciliations
• Assisting the Financial Controller with supporting reconciliations and reporting
• Liaising with the Commercial team regarding contract sales and costs reporting

About You

We're looking for someone with previous finance/accounts experience who can hit the ground running.

Payroll experience would be a great advantage, although it's not essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who are confident working with figures, organised, accurate and comfortable working within a busy finance environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a temporary role that could potentially lead to a permanent position.
