Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance Team based at Ladybridge Hall in Bolton, for a full-time Accounts/Finance Assistant.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, and working as part of the Management Accounts Team, you will assist in the delivery of accurate, timely budget information and a high-quality management accounts service.

Main duties of the job

You should have a sound knowledge and experience in using spreadsheets. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, have started their journey with an AAT qualification, and be working towards level 3 or equivalent.

Having good communication skills and being able to work as part of a team are essential.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24-hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.

Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community, and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed. We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.

Alongside other emergency services, we work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.

We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West, which was introduced in 2013 to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services. This service is available 24/7.
