Job summary

Tapestry Learning Partnership is seeking an Apprentice Finance Assistant to support the Central Finance team and schools, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, promptly, and in line with regulations.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will assist with purchase ledgers, administration, system support, and internal/external audits while upholding safeguarding and data protection standards.

Qualifications

• Maintaining strict confidentiality and data protection compliance.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection in school environments.
• Familiarity with health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase invoices accurately and timely.
• Raise purchase orders and support staff in procurement.
• Raise sales invoices and support credit control.
• Post cashbook transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Support schools to track financial information and respond to queries.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and contribute to controls.
