Marlowe Fire & Security is seeking a Finance Apprentice to join their team in Salford Quays. Finance Apprentice - Salford Quays

Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers across the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Finance Apprentice at our Head Office in Salford Quays.

Marlowe Fire & Security's Finance Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to gain hands-on experience in a busy finance department while achieving a recognised qualification. The apprenticeship is fully-funded.

The role will develop over time, starting with:

1. Transactional accountancy basics within the purchase ledger department (initial 6-9 months, depending on progress)
2. Progression to bank reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliations, and banking processes
3. Subsequently, working in the management accounts department, assisting with processing, analysis, and reporting, under supervision

This will be supported by the AAT Level 2 course, provided as part of the apprenticeship, including 20% off-the-job training. There will be opportunities to gain experience in payroll, audits, financial controls, and group accounting. Business partnering skills and leadership qualities will be developed, with the eventual goal of progressing to a full ACCA qualification.

The position is based in the office with some home-working options where appropriate.
