Job summary

Accenture UK is seeking a Finance Analytics & AI Manager to shape EPM architecture and data platforms across London, Manchester and Edinburgh. You will lead design of planning, forecasting and AI-enabled finance solutions, partnering with CFOs and senior technology leaders.

You’ll own end-to-end EPM delivery, integrate with modern data platforms, and guide teams across data, analytics and change management. A senior, client-facing consultant role with broad impact awaits.

Within Accenture, the Finance Reinvention Partner helps clients improve financial performance around the CFO agenda — driving best-in-class performance, and sharper insight and benchmarking across the enterprise. In the UK and Ireland, our Finance RP practice brings together finance strategy and the platforms it runs on, including SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM.

You’d join the EPM part of the practice — a growing team reinventing enterprise performance management for finance functions, where planning and forecasting meet modern data platforms and AI. It's a place to work across EPM, data and AI at once, close to the CFO agenda the work serves.

This role sits at the heart of how finance plans, forecasts and decides — as the person who designs the data architecture and the AI beneath enterprise performance management. You'll shape how EPM platforms stitch together with the modern data platforms finance now runs on, and how machine learning and generative AI make planning and forecasting sharper, faster and more trusted. You'll build real credibility across both finance planning and the data and AI behind it, on marquee programmes, alongside people who architect this work for a living.

What you'll bring

EPM and FP&A architecture. Deep command of enterprise performance management — planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and close — and the FP&A behind it, from driver-based and rolling forecasting to scenario modelling and long-range planning. You own end-to-end EPM solution architecture: the models, dimensions and business rules that make a planning solution hold up. And you can lead the platform-selection and architecture calls across the leading tools, from Oracle EPM to OneStream to Anaplan.

Finance data architecture and integration. A strong grasp of how EPM connects to the wider enterprise — ERP, operational systems and the modern cloud data platforms finance now runs on. You set the target finance data architecture that ties actuals, drivers, assumptions and forecasts together, and you direct the engineers who build it — fluent enough in pipelines, integration and data quality to own the design and hold the build to account. You know how EPM sits alongside platforms like Snowflake, Palantir Foundry or Databricks as a governed data and AI foundation for finance.

AI-augmented, intelligent finance. You own the design of the AI and machine-learning use cases that make planning better — predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, automated variance analysis, AI-generated commentary and agentic planning workflows among them — and the human-in-the-loop controls that keep finance in charge of what the models produce. You know how to move a client from isolated experiments to governed, explainable capability the business trusts, directing the data scientists and AI engineers who build it without needing to be one yourself.

Leading delivery. You lead complex EPM, data and AI programmes end to end — from discovery and architecture through to deployment, adoption and hypercare — directing the functional, technical, data and change workstreams across a multidisciplinary team. You act as the design authority, hold the solution to finance's requirements for control, reconciliation and auditability, and keep senior stakeholders aligned through design reviews and governance.

Growing the work. You build trusted relationships with CFOs, finance leaders, CIOs and chief data officers; you originate and shape EPM, finance-transformation, data and AI opportunities; and you help develop the offering, the reusable assets and the points of view that grow the practice. You lead and develop the people around you.

Ways of working. We're increasingly an AI-first delivery team — bringing agentic tooling and orchestration into how we design, analyse and deliver, with our people owning the judgement and the outcome. Things that set strong candidates apart: a track record delivering EPM programmes end to end; hands‑on experience with one or more leading EPM platforms (Oracle EPM, OneStream or Anaplan); experience integrating EPM with modern data platforms — Snowflake, Palantir Foundry or Databricks — as a governed data and AI foundation for finance; a track record of data, analytics or AI‑enabled finance solutions, including predictive forecasting and generative or agentic use cases; familiarity with SQL, APIs and modern data‑integration technologies, and some exposure to Python or ML platforms (deep engineering isn’t required); relevant EPM, cloud‑data or AI certifications; and a professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience).
