Job description

We're excited to offer a permanent opportunity for a Finance Analyst within the newly established Studios UK Finance Hub, based in London. This role focuses on the overhead side of the business, playing a vital part in delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Supporting the Senior Finance Analyst, you'll work closely with Finance Business Partners to drive cost transparency, improve budgetary control, and enhance decision‑making across ITV Studios UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence how we manage and optimise our operational spend within a dynamic, fast‑paced, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant management information, ensuring data quality and meaningful metrics that drive business decisions.
  • Support finance planning cycles by preparing actuals, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with FP&A Business Leads for Divisional FP&A and Business Review submissions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by working with the Senior Finance Analyst to enhance processes, reporting, and analytics, identifying and resolving data issues within a controlled change framework.
  • Work with the GFO to overhead journals at month‑end close to ensure transactions are recorded accurately. Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all journal entries, organised and accessible for review.
  • Collate and report on staff costs working with HR and the Finance community to optimise Oracle HCM usage, providing insightful and user‑friendly reporting.
  • Prepare and load all allocations and recharges, ensuring the calculations are accurate and reconcile to the transactions entered into the Oracle planning tool.
  • Prepare recoveries reporting to ensure full visibility of staff utilisation, working closely with FP&A Business Leads and production teams.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a Finance Analyst role or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
  • Skilled in analysing and reporting financial and operational data, with the ability to handle large data sets from multiple sources.
  • Experience with budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and identifying underlying variances and issues.
  • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent experience considered.

  • Confident team player able to build effective relationships across all seniority levels.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Well organised, proactive, with excellent attention to detail and a results‑driven mindset.
  • High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion suite would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in the television production industry is desirable.
