Job summary

Prime Personnel is recruiting for a small prestigious international bank in London to join its busy Finance department as a qualified accounting professional. The role covers regulatory returns, management accounts, and financial reporting, offering variety and exposure to high‑profile projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in banking or audit, degree education with part qualification, and strong IT skills (SQL or Python).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience gained within banking or in audit practice.
• Experience in regulatory reporting is preferred but not required.
• Degree educated with part-qualified accountancy credentials essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regulatory returns for FCA/EBA/PRA/BOE and assist with management reporting.
• Assist with management accounts, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Support data analysis for upcoming transformation projects.

Job description

A small prestigious international bank is seeking a dynamic new addition to its busy Finance department.

Your duties will be varied to include:

• Preparing and assisting with Regulatory returns - FCA/EBA/PRA/BOE
• Assisting with preparing management accounts and various other financial reporting and reconciliations
• Assisting with data analysis for upcoming projects

Your experience must include:

• At least 2 years accountancy experience gained within banking OR in audit practice within an Accountancy firm
• Ideally some experience of regulatory reporting
• Degree educated and already with part qualified accountancy qualifications is essential
• Strong IT skills - ideally SQL or Python
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral

This role will be working 5 days a week in the London office.
