A leading engineering and services company is seeking a Finance Analyst in Leeds for a hybrid role. You will support the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Analyst in managing central overheads and balance sheets. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate month-end closes, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and preparing financial reports. Candidates should have finance experience and ideally be fully qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
• Ideally fully or part qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for analyzing large volumes of data and preparing management information.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Proven attention to detail and quality of work.
• Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Manager in managing overheads.
• Drive accurate month-end close and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare month end variance reports.
• Identify process improvements in month end close.
• Support in VAT return preparation and assist with tax matters.
