About the Role
  • Taking financial ownership of various cost, revenue, and profit centres.
  • Supporting maintenance of various financial systems & processes.
  • Supporting in sales performance reporting and forecasting.
  • Supporting in calculation and processing of commission payments.
  • Ad-hoc financial support across LexisNexis UK.
Key Responsibilities

Ownership of cost & profit centres

  • Perform monthly variance analysis and ensure any issues are understood by finance and business partners.
  • Perform quarterly forecasts.
  • Help identify any highlight any risks or opportunities.
  • Ensure transactions are coded and accounted for correctly.
  • Prepare monthly reports and ensure understood by business partners.

Support maintenance of various financial systems & processes

  • Oversight of various finance systems
  • Calculate, process, and validate system maintenance changes including budget restatements, creation of new cost centres, mapping of products etc.
Reporting
  • Assist with sales reporting, highlighting any risks and opportunities based on performance and pipeline
  • Assist with pack production for sales performance review
Ad-hoc
  • Assist with pack production for sales performance reviews
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Finance.
  • Early-stage professional experience in finance.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident working with data and financial systems.
  • Clear communicator who can build relationships across teams.
  • Proactive and curious, with a desire to learn and grow in a supportive environment
