South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) is seeking a Finance Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring across SOSE. You’ll work with the Senior Finance Business Partner and colleagues to prepare financial information and communicate it clearly to stakeholders.

The role is full time and combines home working with office attendance, within the south of Scotland region. A right to work in the UK is required, and there is a focus on collaboration and practical, data-driven

Competenze

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical and data analysis skills.
• Good working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and financial systems.
• Experience in finance functions and preparing high-quality financial information.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Mansioni

• Support month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting for areas of responsibility.
• Maintain finance trackers to provide timely, reliable information for managers.
• Process finance approvals within the PO system in line with controls.
• Explain financial data clearly to stakeholders and respond to needs.
• Support improvements to reporting, systems and processes across the team.
• Provide cover with the other Finance Analyst during leave or absence.
