Job summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking a Finance Analyst based in Rochdale to support accounting and finance operations within the FMCG sector. The role is permanent and full-time, office-based with the option to work remotely one day per week.

Key duties include management accounts, budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, and ensuring compliant financial reporting. ACCA/CIMA Part qualified or equivalent experience is required, with commuting to Rochdale expected.

• Experience in preparing management accounts / finance analyst work.
• Ability to commute to Rochdale.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to provide insights into financial performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in strategic planning.
• Assist in variance analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and reporting tasks as required.
