Job summary

Superdrug Head Office in East Croydon is seeking a commercially focused Senior Finance Analyst (Distribution). You will support month-end processes, review weekly costs with Warehouse, DC and Transport teams, and assist in balance sheet reconciliations.

You will provide insights on fleet-related accounting and contract spend, enabling informed decision-making and improved financial performance across Supply Chain and Finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, reporting or analysis in a commercial/operational environment.
• Working knowledge of Excel and data handling.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders.
• Professional qualification in finance (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) being pursued or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end processes for Warehouse & Distribution, including cost tracking & reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, DC and Transport teams to review weekly costs and explain movements.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support fleet-related accounting, lease reporting and contract spend analysis.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to senior stakeholders across Supply Chain and Finance.

Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm. Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.

This role sits within the Commercial finance team & supports the financial performance of Warehouse & Distribution.

You’ll report to the Senior Finance Analyst (Distribution) and work closely with the operations teams and Supply Chain stakeholders to provide accurate reporting, analysis and insight that supports decision-making.

• Support month-end processes for Warehouse & Distribution, including cost tracking & reconciliations
• Working with Warehouse, DC and Transport teams to review weekly costs, explain movements and support day-to-day decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting fleet-related accounting and lease reporting, as well as contract spend analysis to help track performance against plan
• Providing ad hoc analysis and insight for senior stakeholders across Supply Chain and Finance, helping the business understand performance and identify opportunities.

What You’ll Need

• A working knowledge of Excel and be comfortable handling and analysing data.
• Some experience in finance, reporting or analysis, ideally in a commercial or operational environment
• Excellent attention to detail with a can do attitude.
• Strong organisational skills & time management.
• Be working towards a financial professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Experience of working with operational stakeholders, contract spend analysis, or lease and fleet-related costs would be helpful, but just as important is the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
