Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team supporting the Costa contract. You will help provide clear financial reporting, meaningful performance insights and accurate management accounts to support day-to-day decision making in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This full-time, permanent role is based at Centre Point, Trafford Park, with typical hours 9:00–17:00 or 08:00–16:00.

Qualifications

• Actively studying toward a CIMA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse data.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and relationship-building across operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly cost reports, monthly management accounts and KPI reporting to support business performance
• Complete month-end activities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal financial controls and audit requirements
• Analyse financial results and provide commentary to help operational teams understand performance
• Build strong relationships with operational managers and support them with financial insight and reporting
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to the Senior Finance Manager and wider finance team
