Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Accounts Receivable & Credit Control team. This role focuses on AR, credit control and debt recovery, offering hands-on experience in a busy finance function.

You will identify aged debt balances, resolve issues with customers, and improve cash flow through effective collection strategies. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or AR clerk with strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related discipline.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; numerical/analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts to ensure invoices are paid within terms.
• Investigate and recover aged debt balances (2–5 years) and resolve disputes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Finance to resolve issues.
• Retrieve, analyze AR data and produce reports on aged debt and cash recovery.
• Support month-end reporting and contribute to process improvements.
